12PM: Join us for this gnome making class during Mount Vernon’s River Days, Saturday September 12th, 2026. 45 minutes and you’ll be on your way to having your mischievous gnome made from clay!! After we create the gnomes from wet clay, you will add your own flair. After creation, the gnomes must be fired in our kiln so, while they will not be available to take home this day. You will choose your glaze colors and we will contact you when the gnomes are ready for pick up. Ages 5-105 welcome!

In-Class Projects
In-class projects vary from class to class. Generally, there will be a wheel-thrown component and a hand-building component. Pottery is a broad field and we strive to offer a glimpse into a variety of aspects.

We are happy to offer class transfers from date to date with 24-48 hours notice. Cancellations are available with 48 hours notice. This allows us to contact anyone that may be on a waitlist.
